The “Energy, Environment and Sustainability” vertical will be focused and shape the activities including symposia, trainings/workshops, and experiences within the following topics:

  • Renewable energy: solar, thermal, wind

  • “Solar” fuels & chemicals

  • Energy storage (battery circularity)

  • Energy efficiency in the IT sector (PICs)

  • Sensing and monitoring for agrifood, environmental and circular economy (pollution, recycling)

  • Sensing and monitoring for conservation science

  • Lighting for art and cultural heritage
