360 CARLA Symposium & Experience Paris

On December 6th and 7th, 2025, Institut d’Optique Graduate School (IOGS) will host in its premises a 2-day special symposium & experience on Quantum photonics in Paris area as part of the 360 CARLA project.

Where: 503 Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship – 2 Avenue Augustin Fresnel, Palaiseau (France).

When: 6 – 7 November 2025.

Target Audience: The event is designed for MSc students and university graduates with background in physics and strong interest in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Registration: students can register online via this link, providing a brief motivation statement about their interest in attending. Due to limited spots, the result of the selection process will be communicated by email.

This event aims at an opportunity for students of Université Paris-Saclay currently involved in scientific curricula to engage with experts from recently created quantum photonics start-ups, sharing their vision of the deep-tech environment, at the interface of fundamental physics and entrepreneurship. The event is supervised by the Direction of Innovation of Institut d’Optique, and co-organized with Photonics France, with a shared session during the French Photonics Days on November 7th.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

Discover the ecosystem of innovation an entrepreneurship in quantum photonics in the Paris area.

Engage with professionals from quantum start-ups to discuss the process behind the elaboration of a company project in the quantum deeptech ecosystem.

Discuss career path and opportunities in quantum technologies companies with professionals and academics from the Paris area.

The activity is conducted in French and English. Coffee breaks and lunches are provided by the organization.
