Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work on:
- Manufacturing quantum integrated photonic circuits, from fabrication to characterization.
- Improving our processes, focusing on both fabrication enhancements and the development of innovative techniques for photonic characterization.
- Setting up new laboratories.
What we are looking for:
- A Bachelor in Engineering or Phisics; enrolment in a MSc or PhD programme with focus on experimental photonics.
- Broad knowledge and practical experience with photonic lab tools such as optical fibers, polarization optics, imaging systems, modulators, autocorrelators, spectrometers, photodiodes and beam diagnostics, laser diodes, etc.
- Excellent programming skills and positive programming attitude. Knowledge of Python language is desirable.
- A desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Working conditions
- We work in the office 4 days/week, 1 day remote.
- Working language is English. Italian not required.
- Salary is €26,000 pro-rata.
