The camp was aimed at university students and early-stage researchers (graduates, undergraduates, Master’s students, PhD students and early stage post-docs) from all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Photonics focused areas.

During the two days we had 151  participants attending the camp  between participants, speakers and observers (115 students, 12 organisers/observers and 24 speakers). In specific, on the 27th of June we had the participation of 86 students (48 in person and 38 online), 12 organisers and 12 speakers whilst on the 28th of June 68 students (32 in person and 36 online), 12 organisers/observers and 12 speakers participated.

Participants had the possibility to explore the vast opportunities that the photonics careers landscape offers. This event was organised in cooperation between the CARLA partner Max Born Institute (MBI), the SPIE/OSA Student Chapter Berlin, OpTecBB e.V. and Ferdinand-Braun-Institut.
