CARLA camp Netherlands

On 31 May and 1 June 2022, TUDelft organised their first CARLA camp Netherland edition.

More than 90 students and early career researchers joined the two-days event and had the opportunity to envision a career in photonics, both in academia and in the industry.

Academics, from young researcher to emeritus professor, from all around the NL shared their experience in their different fields and participants also had the chance to visit TNO in Delft and ASML in Veldhoven to listen to the presentation of 12 small and medium companies pitching the many opportunities they offer for young photonics minds.

This first edition was a success, with participants, speakers and the industry partners providing great feedbacks and encouraging the replication of this type of event in the near future!
